Maoui Imaginary Friends (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “us” & “our”) is fully committed to protecting the privacy and security of our Customers (hereinafter referred to as “the Customer”, “you”, “your” & “yours”). This Privacy Policy explains all you need to know about: (a) the collection, use, storage & protection of your personal data on our behalf and (b) your rights in relation to the said data.

Data controller

  1. Maoui Imaginary Friends, the Cypriot Cooperation with registration no.12869, Nicosia, Cyprus is the “data controller” of all personal information of our Customers that is collected and used.

What is personal data?

  1.  Personal data means any information relating to you which allows us to identify you, such as your name, contact details, payment details and information about your access and use of our website.

  2. Personal data are collected during the use of our website (such as: when you browse the website, subscribe to our newsletters, place orders, request for quotes, upload forms & photos, pay for the purchase of products, join our social media, contact us and create accounts).

  3. During our interaction with you, we may collect the following data:

  1. I.D. / Passport number, full name, gender & date of birth.

  2. Telephone number, email, home & shipping address, social media & messenger apps.

  3. Paypal & credit/debit card details and billing address.

  4. Product purchase history, including: place, date & time of placing orders, purchasing, shipping & delivering products, products’ prices and preferences.

  5. Our correspondence history with you, including: emails, messenger apps chats, text messages (“sms”), calls, social media and letters.

  6. Login details including the username and the password that you have chosen.

  7. Your feedback and contributions to customer surveys or reviews.

  8. Location, browser, IP Address, device information and cookies information. 

How we use the personal data?

  1. Your data may be used for the following purposes:

  1. To evaluate, process, finalise and complete your orders & payments, providing you with the products of your choice in accordance with our terms & conditions.

  • Ask you for details and clarifications in relation to quotes, orders, payments etc.

  • Provide you with quotes, offers, product information and any other information, shipping & delivery updates, stock availability updates etc

Note that you will have the choice to  of receiving such marketing communications by indicating your choice on the website or by contacting us.

  1. Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.

How long we keep your data

  5. Our professional advisors, such as lawyers, consultants, accountants & auditors.

  1.  Our website might contain links to other websites. Once you use those links and leave our website, we do not have any control over that other website. We are not responsible for the protection and privacy of any data which you provide whilst visiting these other websites.

  7. withdraw your consent (i.e. where we use personal information based on your express consent to this, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time).

  • The above requests must be in writing (preferably by email).

  • We will need to verify your identity before we can fulfil any of your rights under data protection Law. 

  • We may refuse requests of (d) & (e) for certain reasons (such as: due to a public policy or a legal obligation and/or because it may harm / jeopardise our legitimate interests). We will, however, explain in detail the reasons of our refusal.  

  • You have the right to complain to the Commissioner of Cyprus of Personal Data Protection.

 

Changes to the Policy

  1. We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time, to reflect how we are processing your personal data. If we make significant changes, we will highlight the sections of the privacy policy that have been updated to allow you to review the changes.
